Charisma: the Art of Relationships
Why do some people seem to attract attention, to have charisma when they walk into a room? What if you too, could tap into your persuasive communicator and strengthen interpersonal relationships? We all have moments when we influence others… learn concrete ways to use non-verbal techniques and group dynamics to benefit everybody you interact with — especially yourself!
Michael Grinder is a world-renowned expert in non-verbal communication, hailing from Battle Ground, Washington. Michael has spent his life studying, dissecting and teaching the complexity that underlies all communication. He has developed a unique, new science of influence through non-verbal communication that is rich in practical, immediately applicable skills that can transform and improve all professional and personal relationships and help you communicate to be heard and understood.
He is a master of the power of influence — the science of non-verbal communication, non-verbal leadership, group dynamics, advanced relationship building skills and presentation skills. As well as being an exceptional speaker, Michael has also authored 13 books translated into 7 languages.
The Illawarra Grammar School is very proud to sponsor Michael as part of his 2017 Australian tour.
The Illawarra Grammar School (TIGS), founded in 1959, has an enrolment of approximately 1000 students, Preparatory to Year 12, housed in a modern educational setting with a well-established and acknowledged reputation for delivering programs of excellence.
It is one of only two schools in New South Wales to offer the International Baccalaureate at all three levels – primary years, middle years and diploma level, which covers Year 11 and 12, a result which has taken years to achieve and reflects the school's attitude to excellence in teaching and learning.
The school's mission is "The achievement of academic excellence in a caring environment that is founded on Christian belief and behaviour, so that students are equipped to act with wisdom, compassion and justice as faithful stewards of our world" and its motto "De virtute in virtutem" – "From Strength to Strength" (From Psalm 84:7)
