“10 Seconds of Courage”
Nadine Champion is an inspiring international keynote speaker, author and martial artist whose powerful message of “10 Seconds of Courage” challenges people to rethink how they approach fear, change and adversity.
With more than 30 years’ experience in martial arts, Nadine has competed at an elite level, winning Gold at the World Cup of Martial Arts and maintaining an undefeated title record in the ring. A Black Belt student of legendary World Champion Benny “The Jet” Urquidez, she has taken the lessons learned through decades of martial arts and applied them to leadership, resilience, mindset and high performance.
Nadine’s own life has also tested those lessons beyond the ring. Having faced and overcome Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, she brings an authenticity to conversations about courage and resilience that comes from genuine lived experience.
Her acclaimed 10 Seconds of Courage TEDx Sydney presentation earned a standing ovation at the Sydney Opera House and has been described as one of the most memorable TEDx talks. She has since become a highly sought-after speaker and mindset coach, presenting to organisations including Google, Facebook and Telstra.
Nadine is also the author of 10 Seconds of Courage, sharing practical strategies to help people move beyond fear, embrace change and take meaningful action.
Combining humour, vulnerability and powerful storytelling, Nadine leaves audiences with more than inspiration—she provides practical tools to think differently, respond to challenges and find the courage to take the next step.
